  • Stripping finish off veneer body

Anyone ever attempt to strip and refinish a Jackson veneered flame/quilt top body with success? I know that the veneer is only about 1/42" thick, so you can't really do much if any sanding. or should I just buy a body and veneer separately?

Thanks guys. Since I'll be paying more for the body because of the veneer I am trying not to mess it up..
