It´s possible, but I wouldn´t necessarily recommend it.

    But: WHY?

To swap them with the fine tuning screws from a REAL floyd rose. AAnd how would I go about taking these fine tuners off of the Liscenced Floyd Rose?

Wouldn't you just be better off putting in an OFR (I'm not familar with the JT580 system)? Also I even with my limited knowledge of it, how would OFR screws make a difference? Are you swapping because you think it will change the performance of for looks? If for performance just go get an OFR. It will be well worth it

I have Jacksons with the OFR, the Schaller and the JT580. They all work fine. Personally I wouldn't reccommend messing with any of them. Each collection of parts is designed to work together, so I doubt you would experience any real improvement by mixing and (mis)matching parts.

The buttom of the fine tuners are deformed at the factory as a safety precaution, so they won't accidentically fall out of the bridge. They CAN be unscrewed fully, but you run the risk of damaging the threads in the baseplate. The brass fine tuners are the most easy to unscrew. It's a difficult task, involving brute force and dexterity.

I've done it and I won't do it again.

Leave the originals in... you run the risk of stripping the threads on the 580.

Well it's for cosmetic and "grip" reasons, but what do you mean by striping the threads?
                    thanks

Why not? Did something go wrong? or do you just not want to do that because it's difficult?

The threads are the little "ridges" on the screw. Thats basically the only way I can describe them without saying thread If they get stirpped, then they are damaged and/or completely shredded off and no longer will work.

The screws on the JT580LP? Or the hole where the screw goes into?

The holes in the base plate... meaning you won't get your pretty Floyd screws in there.
