          JT-570. It's pretty much similar to the original version of the single-locking Floyd Rose II. They're pretty crappy, but they'll work well if you stretch your strings enough or put a dab of solder on the ball ends.

            The wonderful properties of a Schaller Floyd(soft base plate prone to stripping intonation screw holes, dull tone) and a single locking floyd(crap tuning stability) in one

                Too much money for that. It'll work, just don't try to do any wild whammy acrobatics with it and think it'll stay in tune all that great. I've still got my old single-locking Floyd II laying around from when I got my cheap 600ST Kramer back in '86 or '87. Though, I did swap it out for an OFR after a few years.
