  • Help with neck...

    Hi everyone -

So I have picked up a dk2 and like it so far. What would make it great would be a maple fretboard. After searching the forums, seems like either i can look for a used one off of ebay or maybe musikraft.
Can anyone please help me with the specs on their webpage:
    http://musikraft.3dcartstores.com/Strat-Neck_p_0-8.html

Again looking to get as close as possible of my current dk2 neck but just with a maple fretboard.

    Thanks

    Jeff

      Whoa - Thanks.
Is the '22 Fret with Finger Board Extention' for 24 frets?

      Thanks again

a 22 fret board won't intonate correctly in your dk2 you will need a 24 fret board unless you want to modify your body.

yeah sorry. forgot about the 24 frets. if you order a neck, make sure you talk to them directly and make it clear what body this is for and that you need a "24 fret neck".

Actually I think he needs the finger board extension. I don't think the dk2 neck heel stops at the 24th fret. I think the fingerboard is extended. Like Rebel said it's best to talk them directly before you place your order and let them know what you are doing.
