Will a new floyd rose fit where my JT6 used to fit? without drilling new holes?
This is the one I am looking at buying.

I painted the JT6, looks good and fits back together fine, but now i am thinking its going to be way too much white. Instead of sanding it again and starting over, Id rather just buy a new one.

    Thanks.

Yes, it will fit. Just make sure it's got a 42mm block and not 32 or 37. String spacing might be a tiny bit different, though.

When you say block...what do you mean? The description for the one i am looking at only states: pivot point spacing is 74mm. I looked at another one that stated block was 50mm x 38mm ... So i dont understand. What should I ask to make sure the block is 42?
        Sorry for the stupid question.

If you take the spring cover off the back of the guitar, the block is the part of the trem that the springs hook into.
