          22 or 24, doesent really matter, definetly Maple over Rosewood anyday.

            all 4 have their place. I have 22 fret maple & 22 & 24 fret rosewood. It's all the components of the guitar together that make me decide which one I want or need to play at a given time.

            btw, wasn't this very topic deleted already? Have trouble taking a hint?

                          I don't care what the fretboard is. It's the other side that matters. I think maple boards look better as long as they have a 20 year look on them.
                          I am a true ass set to this board.

                            number of frets does not make as much of a difference for me... I just adapt to what's there. But it is either ebony, or maple fretboards that I like... always was staying away from the rosewood. Just don't like the feel, look, and subjectvely - sound of it.
