  • Dream Theater - Images and Words

Do any of you know what equipment Petrucci used on the Images and Words album?

    Thanks,
    Nick

Um...for some reason the "time in which I may edit my post has elapsed" I just want to say sorry, I forgot that Dream Theater really doesn't have anything to do with Jackson...so if I violated some rules, my apologies.

    Cheers,
    Nick

I'm pretty sure his guitar was an Ibanez RG with a Tone Zone and an Air Norton, and his amp was a Triaxis and a 2:90. Not 100% on that though. But I know that at that point he didn't have his sig series Ibanez yet.

At that point, he was also using the Boogie Mk II C+ amp as well....

the ibanez wouldve been a "usa custom"...i believe his sig model was based upon that line...they were nice guitars, regardless of where they were made...d.m.

His amp at the time was either the triaxis and 2:90, or a Mark IIC+. His guitar was the Petrucci Custom RG. His custom pickups are based off the tone zone I believe, don't know if he used them or regular tone zones on the album.

Oh right, it was a regular RG. Ah well, close enough.
