  • Neck Specs

I made this list so I could compare the neck specs and thought I'd share it with everyone. I was focused on the thickness of the necks. I have small hands and have trouble playing thick necks. Let me know if you see anything conflicting/wrong. Thanks

(Info comes from each guitars spec sheets on Jacksons Site)

Somehow I don't think that would help with your happiness but I can add this file.

Maybe some of the arguments about the DK2M having a thicker neck are true. I see they list the DK2 as .735 and .810. I just measured mine (DK2M) and it's .785 and .864. I knew it felt chunkier than the other DK2 necks I've played.

yeah the older ones are slightly thinner
i have one DK2 that is even thinner than the .735 i bought it used and the guy sanded it down to refinish the back of the neck with tung oil
he went a bit heavy on the sanding but i love the feel of its thinness
it is more like the KE3 necks(.720) now
If it's not a CHARVEL then i dont want to play it,look at it or even fuckin THINK about it!

                      No problem.
I believe I read on this forum that the KE2's has Jumbo frets and the KV-2's have medium-small frets and not Jumbo frets but i'm not 100% sure on this. Jacksons site claims they both have 24 jumbo frets.
