  • Sound question

    Hi! got a question.
What kind of guitars and equipment were used in Bruce Dickinson's "Chemical Wedding"?

    Thanks!

      Re: Sound question

Take a peek at my Iron Maiden topic for a look at Adrian Smith's Jackson guitars.

Roy Z also played guitar on that release and he produced it as well. There is a pretty extensive interview with him on the Dinosaur Rock Guitar site where he discusses his recording techniques with Bruce Dickinson (Rob Halford also) and his preferences for guitars & amps. It's pretty cool, and there are loads of interviews with other cool guitarists on the site too. Check it out:

oh wow lol. I coulda sworn i remembered them recording with Gibsons or something like that... Oh wait, that was a godsmack association, because the two sounds resemble eachother quite a bit in my ears ^.^ Just the marshall amps i guess lol. Thanks! i'm off to set my POD

I thought Roy Z was using Fernandes and Adrian Smith was using his Jacksons on that album.
