  • replace trem on Stealth Ex

    Hi,
I picked up a Professional Stealth EX on Ebay. I'm having a heck of a time keeping in tune. The bridge is level etc. Inotnation is good just hard to tune up compred to my Hamer Chapperal with a OFR. The OFR has never been this difficult to tune. Can an OFR be dropped in without alterations?

Did some searching here and lubbed it up and its keeping in tune pretty well now. In my opinion it is not as good as my OFR but it stayed in tune for more than 1 song now and holds it tune overnight.

Make sure your strings are good and stretched too... if you change string gauges or brands, sometimes the springs need a little time to settle in also.
