Got my OFR the other day and it had a 42mm block on it. I removed the block and sent it back for a 32mm and now can't remember which order and way round the plate goes between the block and the bridge. Anyone have pics?
    Thanks

The OFR I am looking at as I type doesn't have any stamping on the block. There was a thread were someone was having the springs pop out. Turns out it was upside down. I believe the holes are drilled at a slight angle. Before you install the block, put a spring in it and you will see what I mean.

Also, remember to keep your saddles sorted out. Lowest two for the E's, tallest two for the D & G.

Cool, does it go the block side or the bridge side of the "spring" type chrome plate?

I have had issues with the springs poping out if the block was to short.

On my guitars, the stamped side of the block is facing the butt-end of the guitar when istalled.

If the springs pop out the block you have to turn it around.

I was the bonehead who was having that problem.

However, the block was BACKWARDS, not upside down...

C'mon fett, give me a little credit... I'm not THAT big of a bonehead

Didn't you have to turn it over? Wouldn't that make it upside down? Backwards would mean the spring holes would have butted up to the body. I think.

I've also put the block on backwards once, and I had a heck of a time figuring out why the springs kept popping out! ...But I was too embarassed to post on the forum about it.
