  • Snakeskin Guitars ...

Not paintjobs, but actual snakeskin covered guitars.

Does anyone know how this is done?
Or where to get the snakeskin?
Or maybe where to send out a body to have it done?

This is the look I'm going for ...

    Thanks!

spray adhesive and a snake skin. then sometimes they will gloss over it.

    or it's just paint.

You might want to do a search, someone here did one just a couple of months ago.

Curious about that. I mean, how do they/where do they hide the seams?

Yeah, that dude did one helluva job.
Almost looks like he fed the snake a guitar body. lol

I see real snake-skin boots all the time at the thriftstores I go to. Maybe, I'll skin those pups and give it a shot.

They don't have "creeks" in Raleigh, NC ... they have "cricks".

" Tan me hide 'till I died, Clyde. And that's it hanging on the shed". Or something like that. Very old song. Anyone remember?

Hey Dino, check your post like this at the Project Guitar Forum. If you notice, there are seams on the edges, between the top and bottom, and the sides. They actually interwove the scales, to help lessen the obviousness of the seams. If you look on the edges, you can see the print patterns do not carry over, onto the sides, but are actually a separate print. It's actually a 3-piece.

                        Hope this helps a bit.
