  • Project Soloist - Day One

    Here are a few pics. for my project soloist - Day one: Strip the old paint.....

    Apply masking tape to fretboard:


    Finished masking:


    Apply paintstripper:


    You can see the old paint bubble and peel right off:


    Paint bubbling on front:


    Sanding....you can see the front of the guitar with paint stripped....


    That's all for now....more pics. to follow.....

            Fuck! I used paint stripper and it didn't come off that easy on my Aria bodies.

            Look good so far.
