Wow, just paid the Charvel Star off two days ago and it arrived a few minutes ago!! This guitar rocks. Thanks, Matt... even though you forgot to send me the tracking number. I didn't expect it to get here this quickly. Oh well, now I've gotta go out to work and won't get a chance to really play it until later. Thanks again, Matt.

I'll post some pics tomorrow. It's a new black SD Standard Star with oiled maple neck and maple board, non-recessed Floyd. It kicks ass!! Strange thing, the trem has a 37mm block. I thought non-recessed always used the 42mm and the old semi-recess used 37. Interesting. Not sure I'm totally digging the slightly scooped sound of the Custom 5 pup at the bridge yet, but I love the Jazz in the neck position. The neck is great, slightly beefy and rounder like I was hoping... no real thin Dinky neck.
