  • Old Gotoh Floyds

Hey people... I have an old Gotoh stamped Floyd on my Model 2.
Its gold, its got a pretty beefy brass sustain block and the collar for the pop in trem arm is the style that has the little allen set screw to adjust the tension of the bar. The trem posts are the direct screw into the body style. It stays in tune great, is very string friendly and is actually very reactive because there is no wobble in the bar.
I can't find any info online regarding this older Gotoh Floyd. It is stamped GOTOH in block letters on the side of it. Thats it.
Just curious if anybody here has one like it.

No but I'd want one to compare to the JT-6

No... I lost my camera to my daughter and I haven't been able to buy another one yet.
I'll try to borrow it tonight and snap a quick pic of the top and bottom.

Here's a couple of pics from allparts. Aren't these made in Japan? They look to be similar to the description of your trem with the brass block and the bar set screw is visible on the gold version.
