I've tried Ping Floyds and have had no problems at all.
Mitch (axcessories.com) is also a great guy to do business with.

I think Ping has stuff made from varied sources.. whoever will provide a quality part for the best price. Their stuff used to be made in Japan like Gotoh.. but I've seen their tuners say made in Taiwan on the package too. Usually known for good parts tho.. I think Larrivee uses them.

i had one on a past guitar and i had no real complaints. it worked well but i much rather have an OFR if given the choice.
