I took the bridge humbucker out of my Model 1c and there was a sticker that said it was a J-90C. It also had a sticker that said MODEL 3. Was this pickup originaly from a MOdel 3?

      Re: J-90C

Some of those Jackson pickups only had stickers representing the Model number of the guitar they were used in. I've seen a Model 1 with a J-90 that was labeled with the same "Model 3" sticker you have. Actually, the J-90 was the common humbucker if the guitar lacked active electronics, in which case the J-50 or J-80 were used.

The J-90C was common in the Model 1 early on. By all means, keep the pick-up. In my opinion, they are one of the best pick-ups ever!!!!
