Actually i don't think so. I think it says "Charvel" - those letters are just that big.

I would say a Model 3 but i'm puzzled by the 24 frets and the scalloped lower horn... hmmm...

There is one just like that on Justins's site. He says it's a 375 Dlx. However, I have noticed some mistakes in id on some axes there from time to time.

At first I thought it was a a 375 Deluxe.. In desert crackle. The 375s also came with an optional maple fretboard.

But the matching headstock confirms what everyone else says about it being a Fusion Custom.

can't be a "Model" because of the logo.

I think Dana's right - a 375DLX

Fusion Custom, no doubt. The 375 lacked:

***matching headstock
***24 frets
***lower bout scoop

Come on, bros, break out yer catalogs and git edumakated.

Well to be fair, I was just pointing out what was on someone else's site. I didn't really say what I thought it was. I'm very familiar with the original model series, but when it comes to the toothpaste logoed ones I get lost real fast. I really didn't know what it was...just that I had seen another one somewhere. Re: Help ID a toothpaste Charvel

As is USUALLY the case, Joe {Charvel750} is CORRECT-A-MUNDO...'90 or '91 Fusion Custom...

"...This guitar has all the light speed features of the Fusion Deluxe, PLUS a tone control and an additional single coil sized "rail" humbucking in the middle position for a vast array of tonal possibilities. To finish off an already perfect combo, the Fusion Custom also sports a matching painted headstock..."

MSRP was $895.00, { same as the Fusion Plus}, as opposed to $795.00 for the Fusion Deluxe and $695.00 for ther Fusion Special...ALL came with rosewood 24 fret fingerboards except the Fusion Deluxe, which was available in either rosewood or maple, and the optional Reflex active pickup system was a $200.00 option, and available ONLY in the Fusion Plus...

I am actually DOWN from FIVE Fusions to ONE, and THAT one will have to be PRIED from my COLD, DEAD FINGERS !!!!!

ALL HAIL JOE !!!!!

1}...Clear FINISHED neck
2}...Bolt-on
3}...VERY similar to the early '90s Dinky necks as far as profile
4}...Dinky body, BUT with half-round recess in back and scalloped in front for easier access to the upper registers
5}...Made in Japan
6}...Post bushings SHOULD take a fine thread Schaller post insert
7}...Born with a Schaller-made JT-590 {or at LEAST MINE were}

...ANOTHER kinda cool thing is that - with the 24 fret short scale, you have LESS string tension, making it EASIER to bend notes...That finish was called "Desert Crackle", and I'll BET YOU'LL LOVE the guitar !!!!

I BELIEVE that Joe {Charvel750} recently sold a Spectrum in this finish...
