• Model 7 Owners

I will be receiving the Model 7 that I bought from Chuckracer tomorrow. I've pretty much decided that I am going to put a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails for Tele (STHR-1b) in the bridge, but am not sure what to put in the neck. Any suggestions?

How about another hot rails in the neck? I think a hot rails in the neck sounds killer.

Fritz, did you check out Seymour Duncan's site?

When I was looking around for ideas on what to put in my Model 7, this gave me a couple of good options...

But after I got it and played it, I decided to stick with the stock pickups.

Tekky: I wasn't able to get into the site the last couple of days.

Word: If I put a Strat Hot Rails in the neck, would it be much different sounding than the Tele Hot Rails?

I'd be tempted to go with a Little '59 at the neck. I have a hot rails in the bridge of a Yamaha Mike Stern Sig. and it pairs up nicely with the full-sized '59 in that guitar.
