I read on a post that someone around here sells the Allparts-type Jackson Floyd whammy conversion & bar, but I can't find the post again.

Anybody know who that is?

I'm a little lost on your question. are you looking for a replacement assmebly for your bar?? If so Stewart MacDonald is a good resource.

Sorry - I read here (in a post I can't find again) that someone makes and sells a conversion kit for the Jackson Floyd so you can stop using the snap-in bar, and instead use a screw-down (top cap, not screw in) bar.

Allparts has it as

"BP 1000-003

RT-B Retro-Trem Arm System for Floyd Rose® Tremolo Black"

but I would swear that someone on the forum said they sold them for less...

I think Doc Dryer on this board might be selling them. He usually does that conversion on his guitars, like the Model 5A I got from him.
