Wiring help

I have a problem. I bought a set of the new Dave Mustaine active Seymour Duncans for my DKMG. I'm trying to wire these up with all the new pots and wires and I'm getting a horrible hum out of them. There are no diagrams included for 2 Hums, 2 Vol, 1 Tone with a 3 way blade switch. Can anyone help a brother out???

Incidentally I took all the electronics and loaded them in my Performer PS3 Rhoads. I put the EMG HZ in the neck and loaded a Jackson J-80 in the bridge, 1 vol, 1 tone and the EMG preamp with a 3 way toggle. There is no noise. (and the preamp kicks ass with the J-80)

Im not sure if EMGs are the same setup but they have a diagram(5) that is close to your setup. Check it out. maybe it will help you.

sounds like a bad wiring. Double check all the solder joints and make sure you wired it all correctly. Actives also use 9v battery, but I'm sure you haven't forgotten that. Also make sure you grounded everything correctly if it's neccessery (active EMGs don't have to be grounded).

Just skip the one tone control and make sure you use that little green thingy between two volumes.

They are most likely internally grounded similar to EMG's. Make sure your not using a ground wire to the bridge. If they are not grounded internally, get with Duncan's Tech support for more information. They are pretty fast to respond.
