  • Model 1 in a local pawn shop

I stopped by a local pawn shop today and they have a nice Model 1 if anyone is interested.

    It is:
    Red
    Maple fretboard
Case included (I didn't see it)
Needs a slight truss rod adjustment, it has a small buzz past the 12th-14th fret
Hardware is very clean, but no bar (of course)
Asking $135.00, which means they'll probably take $100.00 or less.

I don't know if they'll ship or not, but if anyone wants the info, I'll post it.

      Vobiscum? alrightie then.

Very good price I'd jump all over that.
Is it really clean and is the body in good shape?
Is the original j 90 still in it? E mail the location if you don't mind. I'll trade a well aged very clean 89 squier strat three singles yellowed very nicely, lacqured neck old style tuners for a good model 1 or 2 charvel

            Richard,

If you make the trip, the pawn shop is on Highway 62 (Illinois Avenue) on the left. It might be worth it to call them first. Sometimes they'll hold an item for a few hours just by request.
