help/advice on putting a guitar together

can u give me some help? I'm thinking about getting a guitar, but one where i get all the bits and have it put together...here's what i'm thinking about doing...

strat style body, alder, metallic red paint, neck singlecoil, bridge humbucker, vintage trem, black scratchplate, single vol, 3 way switch, 22 fret, either maple/rosewood board strat neck

can you give me any advice about the best people to talk to, how much it would cost, where i could get parts from, who could put it together please.

also any suggestions on pickups would be good, i'm thinking dimarzio super distortion, tele neck singlecoil...what do you think? its for big ass rock...not really metal...like 80s stuff mixed with blues rock...any recommendations on what type of vintage trem to use would be good too

I'd check with JCF member Slash for the body. I don't persaonally have any of his, but I've dealt with him and he's good people. For the neck, maybe Warmoth, or depending on your budget try SM (Stewmac.com). SM can probably also supply most of the other parts. As far as the assembly and setup, there are a few members here who could do you a nice job. I would be happy to do it for you as long as you're not in a huge hurry. Pickups?....well, that's another thing. I would put an EMG 85 in the bridge, and a SA in the neck. That's just me though.
