  • Floyd rose parts question

Are the nuts and screws for the locknut something I can just go to the hardware store and buy? I only see them for sale along with the bottom piece, which I already have. Thanks.

        Ugh!
Stewmac has the parts you need.
Sorry, you'll have to find the exact page yourself this time.

When you're doing a URL like this from Stew-Mac the comma in the url triggers the board software to use the closed URL tag. In instances like this, it's best to use the URL 'wizard' offered by clicking on the 'reply' button.

Thanks for the link. 3-4 week wait though. I think I'll try my luck at home depot.

Plus, it's a $30-minimum order from Sew Mac unless there policy changed.

If it's string clamp screws you're looking for, hardware stores should have them, but it could be tough finding them in the exact length you need. I've been lucky finding the right length in the past, but other times I had to buy a longer screw and grind it down.

How are these nuts any different than what I could find at a hardware store?

They just happen to be the correct ones. You may or may not find what you need at the hardware store, is all...
