  • 1966 Airline guitar

    Hey guys,
I have an old guitar from 1966 that my granddad gave me, an Airline H-70. I want to clean it up, restring it, oil the fretboard, and wax it. I'm familiar with how to clean my Jacksons, but I wonder if the Dunlop cleaning products I have now aren't suitable for such an old guitar. Thanks for any assistance. The picture below isn't of the actual guitar, but it is the same model, finish, etc.

    Cheers,
    Nick

looks like a ES175, an ES335 and a Gretch all fucked eachother and had an offspring. LOL

hey, likely the guitar cleaning products you have are fine. just use plenty lemon oil on the board too.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

It's a Harmony Guitar that was made for Airline.

You can always start with some Naptha. It will take any junk off the finish including grunge on the fretboard. Just don't use anything with Silicone in it.
