  • Audio taper pots versus linear taper pots.

    I just read somewhere that you generally use audio taper for the volume, and linear taper for the tone control. What the hell is the difference, and what happens if you get them mixed up. I always thought that guitar pots were all the same. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

      Carvin does the opposite... linear volume and audio tone.
