Bill Lawerance 500XL

Installed one of these in my Model3 and it sounds very bright. Not too many mids or low. For thoese who have one of these, is yours also very bright sounding? I might look at the x2n next.

Mine is bright. You can buy some circuitry from him to change the dynamics of the pickup and add a lot of tonal variation. I've used one on an ibanez for 20 years (the pickup, not the circuit, Qfilter I think it is called.)
