• When did Jackson change JT390 TOM bridges??

Just got a TOM bridge from a Bond Rhoads (thanks Hellswrath) It's heavier and a little wider than the one on my '94 Dinky HX. The older one also has the wire retainer bar running across, undeneath the screws, the new one does not. When did they change this? The old one also seems to be a tiny bit taller.
Old one on top, new one on bottom.

I'd always heard the TOMs bridges on the USAs were different than the imports. (Despite the same "JT390" part #.) The USAs are a Gotoh, not sure about the imports. Maybe the Bond Rhoads has the USA version, despite being an import? Or maybe it's a Schaller bridge, and the Bond has a Schaller fine-tuning tailpiece?

Is there a brand name on the bottom? USAs are stamped Gotoh.

No brand name, but there is a number on the back of it, 1993, and a letter or two, but I can't remember the letters, as I just changed the strings and put the new bridge on. Strange.
