  • DiMarzio DP 192 Airzone pickup Question

I have a DiMarzio DP 192 Airzone Humbucker pickup
    still new in the box.
I haven't decided what to put it in.
I have a 87 RG550 with a IBZ V2 in the bridge. Would this pickup be an upgrade to the V2. My wife got it for me 2 years ago.
    Any thoughts?

I use Dimarzios but not that one. The 550 pickup was made by Dimarzio or designed so your Norton should be a nice upgrade. I use Pafpro's in all my guitars but 2, I have a Breed in a strat that is killer and a Jackson pickup in my model 2.
Charvel 7308 (TMZ 008), Charvel Pro-mod (yellow), Jackson Soloist Custom (Yellow), Jackson SL2H-V Natural, Gibson LPS DB, Gibson LPS EB, Gibson LPCC C, Charvel Model 2 (scalloped), Jackson DK2M (white), Charvel Journeyman, Fender Classic Player 60's strat, Carvin C66, Musikraft strat mutt, Warmoth Strat mutt, Fender MIM Jazz bass, Epiphone Classical, Takamine parlor. Marshall 2203, Marshall JVM 210H, Splawn Nitro, Fender Supersonic 22, Line 6 AX2 212, Marshall 4X12.
