  • Charvel or Jackson

I purchased this guitar body several years ago from GMW Guitarworks and had it painted ala Buddy Guy. It was sold to me as a late 80's Kramer Pacer. However, several people at the Kramer forum suggested that it is not a Kramer, and is either a Jackson or Charvel body. Also, another person suggested that it may be an old USA style Jackson but definitely not one of the series guitars. Anyone here have any ideas? I know for a fact that it is definitely made out of Alder.

That is either a San Dimas Charvel or Jackson body that has been modded with the recessed Floyd cavity and an additional hole in the control cavity (the front-most one).

But the more I look at that control cavity, the more I'm thinking Wayne.

Thanks for the reply. I think next time I'll investigate my purchases a little more closely.
