• '96 SD Reissue - pickups?

I'm wondering what pickups are in the Traditional model (3 singles w/pearloid pickguard). I knew at one time, but forgot - I think they are DiMarzios, but I can't remember which model. Anyone?

According to a sales brochure I have for the 95 and 96 San Dimas Traditional it came with Dimarzio ( vintage ) single coils. HIH Dana

PS. I have an e-mail from Jackson saying they made 346 of the traditionals.

I guess they mean the "Virtual" Vintage? That's all I can find that fits the description on the Dimarzio website.

Yeah, they are the vintage sounding pickups for sure. In my black and red ones I've replaced the bridge pickups with Hot Rails and now both guitars can go from classic tones to metal.

Yes they're DiMarzio vintage style singles.

Are you looking for a Traditional?

I love the virtual vintage series. I've got `em in two different custom shop axes, paired with a humbucker in the bridge.
