How much should I pay to have the frets leveled on a Musikraft neck?

expect 50 (on the low side) to about 75 bucks.

Funny, I was just quoted $30-40. Then again, I've done business with him, before, and he IS a cool guy.

Remember, you get what you pay for. A good fret re-level will include a nice crowning and polishing, and truss rod adjustment. Sometimes those details are kinda hurried through. Cheapest isn't always best.

Just paid $85.00 for a fret level and reseat job. The frets on my mutt were coming up. It was well worth the money.

Yeah, but I also have known this guy, AND his work, for 20 years. He is one of the best in the area, and his parnter is an authority in Les Pauls. In fact, he wrote 2 books on the subject. These guys are reputable.
