  • contacting jackson?

Does anyone know how I can contact Jackson about a 96 custom shop Charvel? I would like to find out what wood the guitar is made out of and didn't see any email addresses at the Jackson website to contact them. Any info is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Rich

Hey.. they replied. They couldn't find the work order but did have serial # and some specs. Told me if they had time they would find the complete work order.

                  Re: contacting jackson?

That's not the answer I got. Fender is now intercepting emails to the Jackson people. This is same thing they did with Guild. Lost all the records. But they weren't lost, they just stopped giving out info.

The serial number you provided reflects a Jackson Bolt-on necked instrument from ~’87 to ’89. Jackson didn’t provide us with an individualized serial number record, so I’m not able to tell anything specific to your instrument based on the serial number.

That's too bad. One of the things I loved about Jackson all these years is how personable they always were and what good records they kept. oh well.
