  • Wiring question

I'm going to be doing some re-wriring of my guitar and was wondering what kind of wire and what gauge is best. I need to run wires from input jack to the pots and wires from pot-to-pot. I have some 22 gauge solid copper wire, will that work?

    thanks,

    joe...

Rip out a power supply from some old computer tower and you will have enough wire in a multitude of colors to do a few jobs.

I have been usng that kind of wire for years. Perfect gauge and many color to choose from without buying 10 different rolls.

Radio Shack is cheaper if you have one nearby. Your solid wire would probably work, but multi-strand is what is normally used & is easier to work with & solder.
