• Wiring of a soloist archtop

I´m about to change pickups to my archtop. Is this the wiring diagram?

If not can you guys give me some hints on what goes where.

Thanks

Sorry, I´m being too hasty.
The guitar seems to have a megaswitch. Pickups are duncan distortion and jazz. One volume no tone. That´s about it.
Thanks again and sorry for the confusion. Is the real diagram This?

What is the layout? Is it an Archtop Pro with 2 hums & a 3-way switch, or is it a USA? Some of the USA archtops have the special 5-way switch with coil splitting, so that's important to know. Either way, what usually works best is to make a note of where each wire of the original pickups is soldered, then solder the corresponding wires of the new pickups to those points. The key is to know the color codes when changing brands. If you're wiring up splittable humbuckers & aren't going to split the coils, you need to know which 2 leads to solder together (ie. white & red for Jackson & Duncan). There's a color code chart posted in this thread:

It´s a megaswitch and I was so fast that I didn´t write down what goes where. It had duncans and after change there are going to be different duncans.

This should be the wiring for the megaswitch.

Lug wiring
1 empty
2 hot wire of neck pickup
3 output
4 ground
5 coil tap of neck pickup
6 coil tap of bridge pickup
7 hot wire of bridge pickup

Now for the stupid question. Is coil tap red and white soldered togeather?
Otherwise than this I´m ready to do some soldering.

Thank you again.

Cool.
One more stupid question.
Lug 4 is ground. Does this mean that I should solder the ground of pickups, both bare and green, in this hole? Only the green, bare goes into volume? Or both green and bare to volume and leave this empty.

Thanks again
