• JE-1000 Users..........

<font color="aqua">So for any of you that have the JE-1000 electronics in your guitars, what settings do you have it set for? Just curious to know what tone you've chosen. On the micro switch (I changed it since I took the pic), I have
<ul type="square">[*]1-up
<ul type="square">[*]2-down
<ul type="square">[*]3-down
The trim pot cranked about halfway.

Just had a thought, I guess it'd be good to know exactly what pickups these are, eh?

Here's a pic of mine for reference on the type of preamp:

1 - up
2 - down
3 - up
gain - 50%

Really makes the Tone Zone in my '88 LE scream.
750xl, 88LE, AT1, Roswell Pro, SG-X, 4 others...
Stilletto Duece 1/2 Stack, MkIII Mini-Stack, J-Station, 12 spaces of misc rack stuff, Sonar 4, Event 20/20, misc outboard stuff...

Why do I still want MORE?

Dave, when that guitar was mine I had to have the gain trimpot at about 1/4 or I couldn't get a decent clean sound at all, way to much gain.oh,and those are J-95's in both positions.

<font color="aqua">Hey thanks, my friend. J95's in both positions? Wow, interesting, I'm actually surprised a 95 sounds that good in the neck position, it definitely fooled me! lol! Agreed on the gain, it can't be pushed further than half if you plan on using it for any kind of clean tones, which are fantastic, I must say! Thanks again for the info - </font>
