• Dimarzio Breed

Has anyone tried this pickup? I was thinking about trying it in my Model 5, she is kind of bright. I am open to suggestions.
Let me know,

Listen to Bad Horsie by Steve Vai. He uses a breed in his Jem 7BRMR in C tuning.

Well... if the guitar is too bright, and you don´t like brightness at all, the Breed might do you good. I found it pretty dull, on the other hand.

The Breed should do you well. I've got a neck version laying around that I'm going to put in the bridge position of a project. It was originally going to go in the bridge of my Les Paul, since according to DiMarzio's site about the Breed neck version; "Recommended For: Neck position on bolt-on trem guitars, bridge position on set-neck fixed-bridge instruments." But I decided to go with EMGs instead and I'm still dying to try this pup eventually.
