  • running headphones off of direct out?

I have a flextone II HD, and it doesn't have a headphone out. Only XLR Direct outs. Stupid question, but what can I do to run headphones off of that?

I suppose it would be balanced XLR -->1/4 mono and then I'd need a headphone amp or something?

1)Would I need to connect to something with volume control?
2)Do they have to be balanced XLR-->1/4"
3)would it change anything if I were to run it into a PC/Mixer instead of headphones?

For something like that, I would run it direct to a small mixer and then use the headphones from there.
You will not have enough juice from an XLR direct out to power a set of headphones, so a mixer or headphone amp would be needed.
And yea, they do make balanced XLR to 1/4" adapters.

Cool, but would it hae to be balanced, or is unbalanced ok?
