• Question about using 1 volume control

If you have a guitar with a single volume control and no tone pot, does the guitar sound like its got a tone control on 5?

no.. like the tone is on 10, so no treble cut (read, high frequencies are not grounded)

Re: Question about using 1 volume control

It´s more like the tone is at 11
The tone control still cuts some treble even when it´s on 10, i prefer them disconnected myself.

Ditto.

My LPC copy has a DiMarzio Super Distortion wired to a single volume pot right now and I would be tempted to leave it there if I didn't just get my APC pickups.
