• Pickups I.D. help

    Ok,

I got two pickups from a mid to late 90's Jackson DX2. The specs on the old mother of all info said they were supposed to be duncan designed, but I believe they are Armstrong. Can someone confirm, please?. No logo on the front, and cryptics M213 asnd M214 on the back.

Thanx in advance, sorry for the crappy pics.

Those look like the Armstrongs. They have no adjustable pole pieces as the Jackson ones do. And also the brass colored baseplate too. Jacksons are silver. And i believe those are Armstrong model numbers.
But someone with exact info im sure will chime in.

Lloyd has a Tech Tips page at Guitarxpress.com that has a couple of old Jackson pickup tables. (check the bottom of the page)

      According to the Professional table, the DX2 was fitted with a JA213 & JA214 - possibly this was a Jackson-ized model number for the M213 & 4?

        Thank you guys,

        I'll look on Lloyd's site.

By the way, the pickups rock!. I really like their sound.
