  • Charvel TTX

Anyone have any ideas on the following ?
I've got a Tele-style Charvel TTX that I think is an import. Serial number is C 012142 and is found on a sticker located on the back of the head-stock. Charvel logo is toothpaste style. Guitar body is ash I think ... the neck is maple with mahogany inlay down the back. Hardware is chrome. Bridge pick-up is a humbucker, neck pick-up is a slant single coil. Pick-ups and tuners both read Jackson. Neck is a bolt-on but hasn't got a plate.
    Any thoughts ?
    Thanks, Tikkster

I'd suggest putting this under the "Import Charvel Guitars" section, as the people who look in this subform might not be familiar with them.

Not from the '80s. The earliest import tele was the Model 7 from '88, then came the Legend in '89, then the TE in '90 - '91, TX in '92, then the TTX came along in '93. Here's the TTX page from the '93 catalog:

If you have any pics of your JTXs theres a gallery you could put them in, I think the JTXs look really cool although I've never played one in person.
