JT580 LP To Original Floyd-Is it Possible?

Hello! I have been looking all over the forums for the answer to my question, but I can't find it so I decide to post. I am getting a DX10 import. From everything I read they are good guitars with crappy hardware. I am wondering if I can just swap the bridge out with a genuine floyd rose or even an ibanez edge without having to do any serious routing. Thanks alot!

Yes, an original Floyd will fit most of the time. I just dropped a Floyd in place of a 580 and used the same mounting studs as the 580, so really just replacing the bridge



The 580 wasn't really a bad trem in my opinion, I just didn't like the lead poisoning flat satin finish that was on that DK-2 when I got it [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
