Re: Is a Dinky DCB old model?!?

    The guitar came in tonight.

It doesn't look anything like the pic I saw, black headstock instead of blue.

I'm a little ticked off as I was gonna make my own, cheaper version of a BOF Dinky.

This one is a blue/purple colour.. identical to my Japan Market 275 Charvel.

Ah well, it plays nice and is setup pretty well for a warehouse guitar.

    I'll keep it.

Is a Dinky DCB old model?!?

I've just picked up a "new" DK2 from AMS

It's listed as a "DK2 DCB" (deep candy blue)

It specs out the same as a current Dk2, Duncan designed, Chrome hardware, 580LP Trem, ect.

But the headstock matches the body, not black.

In fact, it looks like the BOF DK2 without the flames..

I'll post a pic when I get the chance.

      Perhaps an older NOS model?!?

They were blowing out at $279.00, had to get one.

sounds cool. Maybe the headstock just appeared that way because of reflection or something. Got pics??
