• JACKSON "FLOYD" PARTS CIRCA 1987

Ok Gents, forgive my stupidity.... A friend that has stripped out the allen head screw that goes up against the string lock block. His repair shop said that they discontinued the Floyd type Jackson tremolo.

Could someone turn me on to a place that would have these parts??

Thanks for your help,

Adrian

1987? What trem model is it?

There's a photographic list of them here:

" Floyd type Jackson tremolo"+ "circa 1987"

I'm pretty darn sure that would make it a JT-6

Hey, this is Rusto, Adrians friend with the tremolo problem. I'm sure the allen screw that I need is for the JT-6. Anyone know where to find one?

Re: JACKSON \"FLOYD\" PARTS CIRCA 1987

im sure he means the JT6
i had my brother turn (engine lathe) down the heads of good quality car-mechanics screws in a similar size
they fit perfectly into the finetuners
i feel they're even harder and the wrench grips a lot better than in the originals

I think what you want is the String Lock Screw which can be found here:

under JT-6 tremolo parts
