Model 6 nut question

If I were to put a Floyd locknut on a model 6, anyone know which nut is the correct width? r2,r3, or r4?

I beleive you would want a #4
Neck Width 1-11/16"

I think because there is a binding the R3 is correct.
I found that in another thread, can anyone verify this for me?

I am not sure what the difference between a r3 and a r4. I have heard differnt things between w/ binding and string spacing. It would be nice to know. I dont know it this will help or not. nut info
