  • Getting rid of smoke smell on a guitar - How?

A friend of mine just purchse a guitar on ebay and although the guitar is in almost mint condition, it has a strong smoke/cigarrette smell. This of course also applies to the case. Any recommendations on how to get rid or at least minimize that cigarrette smell will be greatly appreciated.

Here's how I resolved that problem...when I moved back home and there weren't people coming and going all the time, I left the guitar out of the case all day while I was at work, and I Febreezed the case. Letting the guitar air off then sit in the nice clean smelling case seemed to do the trick. Then I started playing out again and got sweat all over it regularly so the cigarette smell is gone for good!!
