              Noodles, for basses, I'm definitely a 2x2 headstock with natural finish kind of guy. Fwiw, see this thread in the Ask Jackson section: http://www.jcfonline.com/ubbthreads/...ge=0&fpart=all

              But if I'm going to get an all black bass with *mace* inlays, the pointy seems to go well with it. In fact the 2x2 looks kind of weird on it.

              Still curious to hear what the deal is with the headstock on the music123 bass vs. what's on jackson's site.

                I don't think any of the internet sites update their pictures.

                They still show the USA version of the Hartke cabs. They haven't been made here for over a year.

                I wouldn't put too much stock in their pics.

                By the way I kinda like pointies on basses:
