• Tremolo question

I bought a body off ebay and the guy said it was routed for a floyd. The photos were bad and he didn’t reply when I asked for more photos. Well it wasn’t routed for a Floyd, the rear cavity is thinner and about a ½ inch shorter. The body has 6 holes on the face, so I guess it was routed for a vintage tremolo. (which I know nothing about, never owned one before) The body has a Warmoth stamp in the neck pocket. A Charvel Model series neck does not fit either. I was thinking about filling the holes for the v-trem and opening up the rear route, but I don’t know if a floyd would fit.

So here is my questions
1. Can a Floyd be fitted on it? And what would have to be done?
2. If a Floyd will not fit, what are my options?

Thanks in advance,
Scotty

Re: Tremolo question

So would I want to shim the neck or recess the Floyd? Pro and Cons, Come on guys throw me a bone here?
I really don't want a vintage trem on this thing.
