• Stacked single coils in neck position

My favorite neck position pickup is a Duncan '59. I could of course try a lil'59 but would like to retain the single coil look.

Has anyone had any success with a stacked single in the neck. I've tried the HS3 and thought it was pretty week. The best sounding one I've heard is the stacked single in my Model 4 but it's still not on par with the '59.

Any input greatly appreciated

I just put a Lil 59 in the neck of my Jackson snake.
I know you want to retian the look but the sound out of this thing is great.
It's not a real high gain pickup but it sings. think "Crystal Planet" -Satriani, that type of sound.
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

I like the Ducan STK-S1. It has that strat tone with more output and no hum.
Good deals with:
Metal Medal II, Tonyl11

Here's mine.... Distortion in the Bridge, JB Jr in the mid, and Lil 59 in the neck. The absolute best sounding/playing guitar I have ever played.

I've got a Lil Screamin' Demon in the neck and it's great. Very glassy and clear cleans and defined distorted rythm.
