• Cheapest Tuner to do intonation?

Title pretty much says it all...

How good of a tuner do I need to do the intonation accurately on my guitars?

I am trying to learn a lot more of the technical side of my instrument because I can't find any good techs in my area...(That and I would like to save a few $$!)

Any suggestions for brand names, prices, etc?

Thanks guys!
Dan

Korg DTR-1 I imagine. Need a decent strobe tuner for intonation....

the Korg is a good start, I personally use a Petersen Strobotuner....try one out and you´ll know why

Boss TU12 is the cheapest I believe. It's a meter and it is very accurate.

I've got a Boss TU-8 which is close to the TU-12... very good tuner, nicely fits into a guitar case. I've also got the Korg DTR-1000 rack tuner and Boss TU-2 pedal tuner which I prefer, but the little TU-8 does a great job with intonation as well.

I use the tuner function of my zoom gfx pedal. It works really well.

accurately, hrrumph. Well it depends on how good your ear is because that is as about as cheap as it gets. I've used a 10 dollar tuner that I bought used on the internet quite often, a Seiko ST-727.
